The Perfect Chili for any Occasion | Lakes Region Moms

It’s that time of the year again, Chilly season which means, Chili season! This Chili recipe is a family favorite and It’s also the perfect meal to throw in the crockpot and bring to a party for the holiday season.

Crockpot Chili
Feeds about 10 people (Recipe can easily be cut in half)

15oz can kidney beans, drained
15oz can black beans, drained
15oz can pinto beans, drained
15oz can diced tomatoes
1 large bell pepper, diced
1 1/2 cups frozen corn kernels
1 small onion, diced
2-3 jalapeƱos, diced (optional)
2 cloves garlic, minced 
1/2 cup tomato paste (optional, makes chili thicker)
3 cups of vegetable stock
Ground Turkey, cooked

Preparation:
Turn on slow cooker to high or low

Add all of the ingredients and stir gently

Cook on high for 3-4 hours
Cook on low for about 7 hours

Lastly add the chili seasoning to the Crockpot and stir.

Chili Seasoning: (for 10 servings)
2 tbsp chili powder 
2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (or 1/4 tsp if you desire less spice)
1/2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
